How I Fund This Website

Like every website, there is a cost to keep this website up and running as well as a lot of time managing it and creating content. In order to cover these expenses, I include affiliate links where they make sense and have a little shop where I sell things I have made.

Being an affiliate means I have an agreement with various companies where if someone visits their website through one of my links and they make a purchase I get a small commission. You will not be charged any extra for the products that you buy through these links and I only include products that make sense for the craft they are mentioned in. I mark all affiliate links on the site with an asterisk (*) and include an explanation about the link so that it is clear to visitors that it is in fact an affiliate link.

I also have a small shop where I have some of my handmade items for sale because I make a lot of stuff so it is nice to have somewhere that I can list these items for sale and they might find a loving home.

The Companies I Work With

Create For Less*

Create For Less is an online craft supply store that has a huge variety of items. They have good prices and offer lots of options for bulk orders. I am also a craft contributor on their blog Think Crafts.

Blick Art Supplies*

Blick Art Supplies is an online art supply store. Their product line is tailored towards artists rather than crafters having lots of high end goods as well as beginner introductory type supplies. I love Blick for finding quality specialized art supplies that I can’t always find locally.
